Please be advised that all St. Landry Parish School Board schools and offices will be closed on Monday, January 26th, and Tuesday, January 27th, due to forecasted winter weather conditions. This decision was reached after consulting with the National Weather Service and the Office of Emergency Preparedness.
The safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority. All after-school activities, practices, and school or district-related events scheduled for these days are also canceled.

GPE Guardians: After school Tutoring is CANCELLED for today, Tuesday, January 20th. It will resume as scheduled tomorrow.
Attendance Matters! FIRST GRADE won the Attendance Challenge this week and will get a FREE spirit shirt/jean day on Tuesday, January 20th!
The Steve Carter Education Program provides $1,500 vouchers to families of eligible K-12 public school students per school year. These digital vouchers are used to purchase high-quality literacy and math tutoring.
Program Details:
👉Available to K-12 public school students who are below reading and mathematics proficiency.
👉In-person or virtual options are available.
👉Tutoring sessions must be held after school hours.

GPE GUARDIANS: Correction on the Christmas program flyer that was sent home. Our annual Christmas program will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 9:00 in the school gym. We look forward to seeing you there!
GPE GUARDIANS: Tomorrow, December 10th, begining at 10:00 in the school library, students will take pictures with Santa. Please send in your picture money along with the cards that were sent home with your child. Students will have a free dress day to wear their Sunday best or christmas causal for their pictures.
