I want to extend a sincere thank you to the vast majority of our families who faithfully follow our dismissal procedures each day. We deeply appreciate your cooperation, patience, and commitment to keeping our school community moving smoothly. Because of your effort, our afternoon pick-up process is remarkably quick, typically taking less than 20 minutes.
To ensure safety and fairness for everyone, please remember that all car riders must be picked up inside the student parking lot following our established line procedures. Lately, we have noticed vehicles parking along the side of the road near the lot exit or along the front of the school to bypass the queue.
When drivers skip the line, it creates safety hazards for our walking students and undermines the effort of the many parents who are patiently waiting their turn. Out of respect for your fellow parents and the safety of our children, we ask everyone to follow the required pick-up routes.
If the daily pick-up schedule creates a routine challenge for your family, please consider taking advantage of our bus transportation.
Thank you again to all the parents who set a fantastic example of courtesy and care every single afternoon. You are appreciated!
We want to send a huge thank you to everyone—morning drop-off went much smoother today, and we truly appreciate your cooperation as we work to keep our student community safe and moving efficiently!
As we settle into our daily routine, please keep the following important safety reminders in mind:
*Designated Drop-Off Zone: Please use the Bus Entrance crosswalk area for drop-offs. Do not drop students off at the exit gate area.
*Stay in Line: Under no circumstances should parents pull into the neighboring church parking lot to drop off children. Please remain in the designated car rider line at all times.
*Unload Along the Fence: When stopped along the fence line, please continue our practice of unloading multiple cars simultaneously to keep the traffic flowing.
*Passenger-Side Safety: Whenever possible, please make every effort to have students exit your vehicle on the passenger side rather than stepping out into oncoming traffic.
Thank you so much for your partnership, patience, and commitment to keeping our children safe!
This council will meet three (3) times per year to provide advice and recommendations regarding special education policies, procedures, and resources. Dear Parents and Guardians,
We want to express our appreciation for your patience and support as we continue to refine our morning arrival procedures. While this morning’s drop-off was noticeably safer, our goal is to ensure the process is both safe and smooth for everyone. To help speed up traffic flow and keep our students safe, please review and follow these key guidelines:
*Passenger-Side Exit: Ensure your student exits the vehicle exclusively on the passenger side along the fence on Saizan Ave.
*Multiple Vehicle Unloading: To maximize traffic flow, multiple cars need to unload simultaneously rather than waiting to reach the front of the line.
*Be Ready to Unload: Please ensure students have their backpacks and belongings ready before your vehicle comes to a complete stop so they can exit promptly.
*Safe Pedestrian Pathways: Students should walk along the designated fence path rather than the roadway and enter campus strictly through the pedestrian walking gate, not the bus gate. Walkers should utilize the designated crosswalk area when crossing Saizan Ave.
By having several vehicles unload at the same time and ensuring students exit quickly on the curb side, we can eliminate unnecessary delays and keep the line moving efficiently.
Thank you for your ongoing partnership and commitment to keeping our school community safe and efficient every morning!

As per the SLP transportation department, due to routing changes no alternate or different addresses other than the home address will be allowed until after September 8th. Students must be picked up and dropped off at their home address only. Please be patient as this is not a direct PBHS issue and is district wide.
Other Arrival and Dismissal

Exciting news: Tomorrow is the First Day of School! 🎒
Dear Families,
We are so excited to welcome our students back to campus tomorrow morning! Our teachers and staff have been working hard to prepare for a fantastic, engaging, and successful school year.
To help our morning and lunchtime routines run as smoothly as possible, we have one quick request regarding lunch lines:
New student IDs are currently being processed and will be distributed soon. In the meantime, if your child has their student ID card from last year, please have them bring it tomorrow. Scanning these existing IDs at the lunch register speeds up the line significantly and ensures students have plenty of time to eat and relax with their friends.
If your child is new to the school or doesn't have their ID from last year, don't worry at all! Our staff will be on hand to ensure everyone gets their meal without a hitch.
Thank you so much for your partnership and support as we kick off this wonderful new year. Get a good night’s sleep, and we will see everyone bright and early tomorrow!
Warmly,
Teresa Lavergne

As our school family continues to grow, we are constantly evaluating our daily routines to ensure we are providing the safest, most efficient environment for our students. With this growth in mind, we are making an update to our afternoon dismissal and student pickup procedures.
Our primary focus will always be the safety and well-being of our students. To accommodate our expanding student body, we have recently added more buses. Currently, the afternoon car line causes traffic delays that impede incoming buses—including those carrying transfer students who need to connect to their primary routes home. By adjusting our pickup flow, we can eliminate these delays and ensure all students move through campus safely and on schedule.
We truly appreciate your patience and flexibility as we work through these growing pains. Adjusting to new routines takes time, and while no system is without its minor hiccups, please rest assured that every decision is made with your children’s best interests at heart.
Summary of Key Adjustments:
New/Updated car line dismissal route and location for car rider pick-up
o Parents will turn RIGHT after crossing the bridge on Saizan onto E Courtableau Dr.
o Turn LEFT onto Carrier St
o Turn LEFT onto Stadium St
o Line up along the road along this route, DO NOT block Saizan in any capacity, especially at the bridge
o Stop at the student parking lot gate
o Your child(ren) will exit through the student parking lot gate after all student drivers have exited.
o After picking up your child, continue to Beauxis, and you can either turn Left or Right depending on where you need to go.
· Updated pickup times or staggered dismissal windows
Thank you for your continued partnership, support, and cooperation in keeping our campus safe and efficient for everyone.

Attention Student Drivers and Parents:
