Magnet Academy for Cultural Arts ranked No. 19 in Louisiana among the 2026–2027 Best Middle Schools by U.S. News & World Report!
U.S. News & World Report evaluated more than 24,000 public middle schools at the national, state, and local levels. Rankings were determined using state assessment test results in mathematics and reading, with half of the formula measuring overall proficiency and the other half evaluating performance in the context of socioeconomic demographics.
"Our middle school students come to us from across our district with varying educational experiences. Our high expectations for all students and our positive environment allow these students to experience success where they have struggled in the past."
~ Sandra Castille, Principal
Congratulations to Principal Sandra Castille, Assistant Principal Octavia Warren, Counselor Travon Washington, teachers, staff members, students, parents, and the entire school community on this great accomplishment!
